The strawberry shortbread flavor of these dipped apple slices is an unexpected treat. And unlike caramel apples, that can contain up to 60 grams of carbs, these apple dippers are a lower-carb option.

  • 1 medium apple, cut into 12 slices
  • 3 ounces white baking chocolate, melted
  • 3 tablespoons crushed shortbread cookies
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-sugar strawberry fruit spread, warmed

  1. Dip apple slices halfway into melted white baking chocolate. Sprinkle crushed shortbread cookies to coat.
  2. Arrange on a waxed paper-lined tray. Let stand until firm or cover and chill up to 1 hour.
  3. Drizzle with warmed, reduced-sugar strawberry fruit spread.
