Dark Chocolate-Gingersnap Apple Dippers

1 medium apple, cut into 12 slices
3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted
3 tablespoons finely crushed gingersnaps
1Dip apple slices halfway in melted bittersweet chocolate. Sprinkle finely crushed gingersnaps to coat.
2Arrange on a waxed paper-lined tray. Let stand until firm or cover and chill up to 1 hour.
