½ cup low-fat cream-style cottage cheese
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup sliced nectarines or sliced, peeled peaches or orange sections or sliced strawberries
1 cup sliced apple or pear
½ cup seedless grapes
1 small banana, sliced
Ground cinnamon or ground nutmeg
For sauce, in a blender container or food processor bowl, combine cottage cheese, applesauce, and honey. Cover and blend or process until smooth. (see Tip)
In a large bowl, stir together nectarine slices, apple slices, grapes, and banana slices. Divide fruit among 6 dessert dishes. Spoon some of the sauce over each serving and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg. Serves 6.
