  • ½ cup low-fat cream-style cottage cheese
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup sliced nectarines or sliced, peeled peaches or orange sections or sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced apple or pear
  • ½ cup seedless grapes
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • Ground cinnamon or ground nutmeg

  1. For sauce, in a blender container or food processor bowl, combine cottage cheese, applesauce, and honey. Cover and blend or process until smooth. (see Tip)
  2. In a large bowl, stir together nectarine slices, apple slices, grapes, and banana slices. Divide fruit among 6 dessert dishes. Spoon some of the sauce over each serving and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg. Serves 6.
  • Tip: Cover the sauce and chill up to 24 hours.
