Get a probiotic boost at breakfast when you add kefir to your smoothie. Feel free to use any berries and nut butter you have on hand in this healthy smoothie recipe.

  • 1½ cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup plain kefir
  • ½ medium banana
  • 2 teaspoons almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Combine berries, kefir, banana, almond butter and vanilla in a blender. Blend until smooth.

I think this is a tart smoothie but rather enjoyable. I think I'll try it again without the blackberry's. did not go hungry, YEAH!!!!!

I used peanut butter and only blueberries because that’s what I had. It’s delicious.

I made this smoothie but I used lowfat strawberry kefir and did not have almond butter so I omitted that. Also I kept everything else the same and added 1 tbsp. honey. It was delicious.
