  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  • Toss tomatoes on a rimmed baking sheet with oil, salt and pepper. Roast until they begin to burst, 12 to 15 minutes.

  • Stir goat cheese and milk in a medium bowl until smooth. Season with pepper. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the mixture on each piece of toast. Top with some of the tomatoes and garnish with a drizzle of oil and/or capers, if desired.
