I made these before I ever saw this recipe and they are delicious. I even suggest adding thawed out shredded spinach to the cheese mixture. Or add fresh spinach on top with a tomato. Angela, Hibbing, MN

I loved these. I would have never thought of adding paprika to a hamburger recipe. I will add salt next time, though...it really needs it. Laura, San Antonio, TX

These were delicious! My family raved about them. I used shredded Mexican cheese instead of Gruyere (it was what I had) and they were quite yummy. Keep it coming. Lucretia , Pensacola, FL

This was good, although I overcooked the burgers a little bit. Anonymous

These were very good. I definately recommend using a hamburger press to make sure they are all the same size. the meat gets a little hard to work with in such small amounts as well...thin patties. But they tasted good. Anonymous, Westland, MI

This is a great concept, and you can modify it only slightly to make GREAT party meatballs: Mix up the "meatball" meat using these seasonings, perhaps upping either the smokiness or adding fresh herbs, and "wrap" the meat around boconcini (smaller buffalo mozzarella "balls") or other cheese. Bake in a casserole dish with some sauce, noting that you'll need less time to cook the meatballs through because of the cheese in the middle. What a delightful surprise when your guests cut them open and find that gooey goodness inside!
