A great springboard for your own creativity
Added this to my recipe file with notes of what I did this time and what I'd like to do next time. Used two packages of tortellini--hubby wanted more sauce but nobody else complained. I stir-fried my fresh veggies (whites of green onions, carrots, zucchini and yellow squash) instead of boiling frozen, used lots of Mrs. Dash, oregano, thyme and fresh ground pepper. Didn't have any Fontina so used Parmesan and Havarti--possibly more than the recipe recommends. Served with chicken and sourdough toast and it was yummy! Next time, I might try making 1.5x more sauce. Loved the Havarti but might try Fontina. Otherwise, I was quite happy with our meal.
