A fruit crumble is a sure way to satisfy the sweet tooth and add another serving of fruit to your diet. We've used blueberries here, but any fresh or frozen fruit can stand in to meet your family's taste preference. Leave small berries whole, but peel, pit and chop larger fruits, such as peaches or plums.

Instructions Checklist
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine fruit with sugar, 1 12 teaspoons flour and orange juice. Divide between two 6-ounce ovenproof ramekins. Combine oats, almonds, brown sugar, the remaining 2 12 teaspoons flour and cinnamon. Drizzle with oil and stir to combine. Sprinkle over the fruit mixture. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden, 20 to 25 minutes.

Equipment: Two 6-ounce glass ramekins or other ovenproof dishes

Cut Down on Dishes: A rimmed baking sheet is great for everything from roasting to catching accidental drips and spills. For effortless cleanup and to keep your baking sheets in tip-top shape, line them with a layer of foil before each use.

Seasonal Fruit Staple This recipe is a staple for anyone who wishes to use seasonal fruit... berries & rhubarb in the spring; cherries plums and more berries in the summer; apples and pears in the fall... and then in the winter a great use for the fruits you were frugal enough to freeze. My family was never one for just grabbing a piece of fruit to eat but this was always an easy way to get fruit into their diet. Pros: fast easy flexible delicious Read More
