Used black beans and very hot gourmet salsa. VERY TASTY. Hubby loved it. We are both losing weight and he kept asking me Are you sure about the calories because this is a lot of food and really good? Saved it in Faves and will definitely have it again.
Yum! I just made this today - Hubby and I cannot get over how tasty it was! I made it with minced turkey and used black beans instead of kidney beans. Everything else was as per recipe. Tasty- added zip I modified this a little to what I had in my fridge. I used ground turkey black beans instead of kidney and added a jalapeno (with seeds) and sprinkley a little queso fresco on the top. Pros: Healthy very filling very easy flexible Cons: none
Excellent healthy light but filling dinner I doubled the recipe and made it for my family. It was excellent! Everyone loved it. I am a beginner and found this recipe very manageable. Pros: Healthy light filling lots of veggies easy for beginners Cons: Dicing tomatoes chopping onions
Tasty This recipe was easy and tasty but is about 400 calories when I added up everything at home for my husband and I. Next time I'll leave out the cheese b/c for that small amount it wasn't necessary and adds 110 extra calories. Will make again.
I doubled the recipe for a family of 4 (with 2 teens) and everyone LOVED it! I added a bit of taco seasoning mix to give it more flavour after reading some of the other comments. My kids are picky eaters so I wasn't sure if they'd go for it - but now they want me to make it on a regualar basis. We all really enjoyed it!
