This bourbon-spiked lemonade cocktail recipe is a spirit-lifter at the end of the day. If bourbon isn't your thing, rum, gin or vodka would all make delicious substitutions.

  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • Crushed ice
  • ¾ cup lemonade (6 ounces)
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon (1½ ounces)
  • Lemon slice for garnish

  1. Mash mint in the bottom of a pint glass with a muddler or small wooden spoon to release the oils from the stem and leaves. Fill the glass one-third full with crushed ice; add lemonade and bourbon and stir to combine. Garnish with a slice of lemon.
