I have been looking for variety at breakfast or anytime really and this one is a keeper. I would not have thought of using cinnamon bread. I did mine as a vegetarian version for sausage and also used laughing cow cheddar (1/2 wedge) was great. Will make again and again. Husband thought it was great too. Thank you. Read More

Great Cold but Better Hot! A quick and easy fix in the kitchen very tasty too! I thought I'd like something warm on a cold day so I lightly buttered the outsides of the whole wheat raisin bread first. Then I cooked the sausages in a skillet. After removing them from the heat I chopped them up then layered the sandwich with jam shredded sharp cheddar crumbled sausage more cheddar shaved apple slices and a bit more cheddar. Cooked it over low/med flame for a few minutes flipped it cooked for a few more minutes then plated with the remaining shaved apple slices on the side. Warm crispy on the outside packed with flavor through and through. Yum!! A healthy variation on grilled cheese but with much more flavor! Pros: easy quick healthy light but filling Read More

What a surprise Although I used turkey sausage instead of vegitarian I could not believe that these ingredients worked so well with each other. Apples and cheese on the same sandwhich? It was great and this is become a regular breakfast meal for me. It took less than 5 minutes to prepare and clean up which is great for mornings when you dont have much spare time. Pros: Easy/Quick Prep minimal clean up Read More
