Sugar-Free Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

Create instant frozen yogurt for a healthy dessert in just 10 minutes by blending frozen strawberries with yogurt in a food processor. This healthy frozen yogurt recipe is sweetened with Splenda, making it a sugar-free treat. Use a different favorite frozen fruit in place of the strawberries if you like.

  • 1 16-ounce package frozen unsweetened strawberries (about 3 1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup Splenda Granulated
  • 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  1. Combine strawberries and Splenda in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Combine yogurt and lemon juice in a measuring cup; with the machine on, gradually pour the mixture through the feed tube. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the workbowl once or twice. Serve immediately.

More protein, less chemical... I substituted the plain yoghurt with greek yogurt to give it a boost of protein. Instead of using Splenda I used Stevia (some might also use Xylitol). Pros: This is super-fresh and satisfies the sweet-tooth for dessert lovers. Cons: Splenda... not loving the chemicals in this.
