Fabulous Dressing. I doubled the recipe. Added some fresh Jalapeno pepper to the dressing. Great in Whole Wheat Tortillas with shredded rotisserie chicken and leafy greens and spicy Black Beans. Excellent Summer fare. Thanks for a GREAT recipe!
I made it the vegan version which includes as following: avocado cilantro coconut yoghurt a date lime juice Himalayan salt garlic and in the end I aded a spoon of raw living spirulina paste. It is so delicious and very rich in nutrients and vitamins!
Would eat with a spoon This dressing made use of stuff I had laying around and it's insanely good. I'm already thinking about putting it on grilled chicken in the summer or just dipping veggies in it. Amazing. Can't stop tasting from the container!! So good in so many ways...I'm talking lick-the-spoon good! The diet I'm on allows for 1/2 an avocado with dinner. I was looking for different ways to eat that avocado and this is it! Here's what I do differently: 1. I use Greek Non Fat yogurt - higher protein far less sugar and adds a great tangy taste! 2. I use honey instead of sugar - just my preference not sure if it's really that much 'healthier' 3. I have used lemon juice and yuzu juice (bottled product found in Japanese markets) in lieu of lime juice. All work well. 4. Use a food processor instead of a blender! It's really difficult to get everything to blend using a standard blender. I found myself trying to punch down the ingredients all the time. With the food processor no problemo. 5. Double the recipe...trust me on this one:) Pros: Tasty many uses healthy Cons: hard to stop eating
Refreshing and light! Served it over stir fried shrimp onions and broccoli slaw for a delicious contrast in temperature and texture. Pros: Love the healthy fats and the cool creamy texture without oil.
SOOOO YUMMY I had to review because I noticed this only had 4 stars and it deserves 5. This is a yummy and light dressing. I looked at some of the other dressings on the net and they all called for mayo which I think is nasty. Pros: easy to make and healthy Cons: none!
New favorite for everybody This dressing was an instant hit. Now all of our friends and family are making it too. It's so easy we quadruple the recipe and it keeps for a week or so. Not only is it great on salad but we use it on chicken tacos and as a crudites dip. I've found that I prefer it with a little extra lime. Pros: Healthy low calorie delicious can be a dip or spread easy Cons: None really. My blender is hard to clean I guess(?)
Fantastic dressing! This dressing is absolutely delicious! It is healthy easy quick and can be used in so many ways. I added a bit more lime and thinned it out with a tbs or two of safflower oil. Otherwise it is perfect. Will always keep this dressing on hand - it will encourage me to eat more raw veggies if I have this to pour on them! Pros: Delicious easy fast versatile. Cons: A tad bit too thick
Excellent-tasting healthy dressing/dip with beautiful green color Be sure to taste to add slightly more salt or lime juice. You can substitute low-fat buttermilk for the yogurt. Pros: Fast easy preparation using food processor
Ah-MAZING! This dressing is so easy to make and is soooo delicious! Great topping on grilled chicken tacos; on a bed of romaine and grilled chicken; on top of eggs; and as a dip! Pros: So easy to make and delicious! Cons: NOTHING!
Yummy!! LOVE this dressing!! It is so difficult to find a healthy great tasting salad dressing. It has some of my favorite ingredients....lime avocado and cilantro. Perfect combination!! Thank you Eating Well!!
