Orange-Walnut Vinaigrette

“Try this orange-walnut vinaigrette with a salad of bitter greens.”

Ingredients

    • ⅓ cup walnut oil
    • ⅓ cup orange juice
    • 1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
    • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions

  • 1 Place oil, orange juice, vinegar, garlic, orange zest, soy sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl or a jar with a tight-fitting lid; whisk or shake until well combined.
  • Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate leftover dressing for up to 5 days.
  • People with celiac disease or gluten-sensitivity should use soy sauces that are labeled "gluten-free," as soy sauce may contain wheat or other gluten-containing sweeteners and flavors.
