We like to use chopped frozen peaches, but you can use frozen berries or whatever frozen fruit you have on hand in this ultra-quick frozen yogurt that is made without an ice cream maker.

  • 3½ cups coarsely chopped frozen peaches (about 16 ounces)
  • ½ cup sugar, preferably superfine (see Note)
  • ½ cup nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  1. Combine peaches and sugar in a food processor; pulse until coarsely chopped. Combine yogurt and lemon juice in a measuring cup; with the machine on, gradually pour the mixture through the feed tube. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides once or twice. Serve immediately.
  • Note: Superfine sugar dissolves instantly, preventing a grainy texture in cold desserts and beverages. It is available in the baking section of most supermarkets, but if you can't find it, simply process regular granulated sugar in a food processor or a clean coffee grinder until ground very fine.

Oh yum!!! I love the tart greek yogurt flavor. Used half a cup of agave syrup since I don't like it super sweet and the peaches offer plenty of sweetness. Very easy too.

A sweet and delicious treat, one of my favorite so far. I store these in small freezer friendly cups for portion control. This is was better than ice cream.

So much better a day or two later This recipe was so wonderful!!! I used frozen peaches and tonight I am going to try it with a strawberry banana blend. I put it in the freezer and it was even better the next day!!!! This recipe is definitely a keeper!!!

I made this recipe with frozen peaches and also added some frozen blueberries. I I made this with peaches and some frozen blueberries and used sugar/stevia blend. Very good. My only problem was that I had frozen peach slices and they were a little hard to blend with the sugar. I also ended up added an individual blueberry yogurt along with the plain yogurt and lemon because it needed the extra moisture. Maybe the sliced peaches was the problem. Still very good and I will make it again, maybe using strawberries. Pros: Easy, few ingredients, tasted great.

Can't wait to try! I haven't tried this yet, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Agave syrup could be substituted for the sugar? I need to watch my sugar intake but really want to try this! Thanks!

Easy and delicious! Add me to the fan list-this recipe is a great find! I substituted Truvia for the sugar and it was so delicious! I'm going to try it without the Truvia/sugar as I'm wondering if the fruit will be sweet enough on its own. Only tried it with peaches so far as it's peach season, but can't wait to try it with many other fruits. Incredibly easy and tasty-I made a big batch to store in the freezer, just like a carton of ice cream! Pros: Quick, few ingredients needs

Fruit Frozen Yogurt This is really good -- so refreshing!! I'm so happy that I won't have to buy ice cream anymore. I used frozen cherries (that's all I had) & I only used, slightly under, 1/4 cup sugar. Enjoy!! :)
