Add some color to your mashed potatoes by adding some broccoli to the mix. We love the flavor of fontina cheese paired with broccoli, but any creamy cheese that melts well will work.

I love iet Hi everyone, I love brocoli, I think it-¦s awesome, and this recipe looks really great, I may try tonight, I have to say I-¦m useless at cooking so I-¦m a bit worry about it, I will use Spanish cheese as it is the only one I have at home, never mind I think it-¦ll be great anyway. Have a look at this website, I-¦m sure you-¦ll find it inspiring. kind regards Ana http://www.asturiascheese.com/spanish-cheese

I liked the way that you could really taste both the broccoli and the potato, shining through on their own and not buried in the bit of cheese.

Best side dish I've ever made! There wasn't a drop left. A great way to jazz up broccoli. The cheese was tasty. I wouldn't change a think about the recipe!

This recipe was good, the fontina a great choice to meld the broccoli and potatoes. My 2 1/2 year old really liked it, as did my husband. They both like veggies, so this wasn't an issue of "hiding," but of finding new ways to enjoy standards at our house. I served this dish with roasted pork tenderloin & a salad... the whole meal took less than 30 minutes and timed out perfectly.

I used to cater to my kids tastes, but then realized it got me no where. I've been adding more and more veggies to dishes and while they turn their nose as I'm prepping the food, they always love what I make. They'd eat Ramen all day if I let them, so I found a recipe where I could incorporate a ton of veggies into it, and they LOVE it!!
