  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until golden, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Add cider, syrup and vinegar to the pan. Bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, turning the pork occasionally to coat, until the sauce is reduced to a thick glaze, 1 to 3 minutes. Serve the pork drizzled with the glaze.

Quick and easy with great flavor This is a favorite of mine. It is easy to prepare and gives great flavor to a bland pork tenderloin. I buy tenderloin on sale pre-slice it and freeze it just so I can make this recipe. I wouldn't recommend substituting apple juice for the cider. It is too mild a flavor to complement the chipotle. But when cider is not in season I sometimes substitute orange juice with wonderful results. Pros: Easy weeknight meal Cons: Might need more glaze Read More

Great quick weeknight dinner this recipe is great for many reasons. It is really fast easy and I had all of the ingredients in my pantry! The flavors are excellent- I was worried it would be too sweet but it came out really well. As other reviewers suggest I would recommend doubling the glaze (and therefore also increasing the reducing time). I served this with rice pilaf and crinkle cut carrots. Wonderful and this recipe is now in my regular rotation! Pros: Fast easy few ingredients Cons: High in sugar Read More

Amazing I've only ever made this with chicken as my family and boyfriend are not a huge fan of pork and when I first told them I was going to make it for dinner they were very skeptical.. I swapped the cider for plain apple juice and used white vinegar and my family absolutely loved it and now get excited every time I say I'm going to make which is brilliant for me because my boyfriend is so fussy with his food. Plus it's so simple and so quick to make it's great from when I get home from uni and can't be bothered. I've already shared this recipe with all my friends. Pros: quick easy tasty Read More

One of our weeknight go-to recipes! We love this recipe! We make it with tenderloin medallions as well as pork chops. It's very versatile regarding side dishes and super quick to throw together on a weeknight. It's flavorful and delicious. One thing we change is we add a bit of cayenne pepper as we love spicy food. Excellent recipe. Pros: quick easy flavorful Cons: stinks up the house Read More

My husband and I loved this recipe! I couldn't find ground chipotle at our grocery store so I just used 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne instead and it turned out great! The only thing that I found is that I needed to cook it a little longer to make the sauce thicken. Husband says I must make this recipe again. Big hit! Read More

I would highly recommend that you substitute the canola oil for RAW UNREFINED COCONUT OIL. Why? Because coconut oil is the best for high temp cooking. Plus the added benefit is the good fat your body recognizes and is much healthier for you. And you probably don't know this but did you know certain types of fat actually burn fat off your body. Stay away from hydrogenated oils of any type. Your body chemistry does not recognize this man-made product and will only store it as fat in you. Just because it is coconut oil doesn't mean you'll have a coconut taste to your foods. This oil is absoultely fantastic to use for any type cooking. And it is much healthier for you. Read More

New favorite of the husband! My husband LOVED the flavor of this dish and has now requested that we have it once a week. We were lucky to have very fresh chipotle and red chili pepper from New Mexico on hand from our last vacation and I also used pure maple syrup. I don't think you need to double the syrup if you go with pure maple and the flavor is worth the extra cost. We like our food spicy so I doubled the chipotle and added an extra dash of maple syrup to compensate. YUM!!!! Pros: Delicious flavor quick cook time and so easy! Cons: The pepper smoked a little bit and made us cough for a few minutes while the pork was in the pan. Read More
