Loved it I loved this I added an additional 1/4 cup of yogurt another 1/3 cup feta & doubled the beans (I used white kidney beans because I eat a lot of garbonzo beans) to add more protein. I wrapped it up in a tortilla with avocado & spinach. Turned out great! Pros: Is meatless Cons: Needed more dressing & feta
on the bland side I used garlic seasoned feta but it still didn't give it much flavor. I had used greek yogurt but ended up adding some light mayo for more flavor and to better coat the veggies. Also sprinkled with some sugar added more lemon juice and bacon pieces. Pros: has a lot of veggies Cons: bland doesn't include a lot of seasonings
Dull but not completely boring I'm not hard to please but I thought this was pretty blah overall. I followed the recipe exactly. There are no spices listed so I guess that show speake for it self. Pros: Good for you Cons: Lacks in flavor
Easy and Tasty Nice tasting though next time I would whirr the dressing components in my food processor with a little skim milk to allow it to coat the veggies easier. Best if left to sit a while before eating to allow the favors to blend and mellow. Pros: Fast easy no cook
I really liked this basic salad. It's the perfect thing to pack for lunch. I used a low fat sheep's milk feta and low sodium beans. I will add a little salt right before eating as I thought that adding salt to the dressing might cause the veggies to "weep".
didn't have feta or plain yogurt. used bleu cheese & low fat mayo & red onion instead of the red bell pepper... it was very good! My husband and dgtr liked it. Can't wait to try it with the correct ingredients next time
This turned out pretty well. I followed the recipe as written but between the yogurt and the lemon it's a little too citrus-y. I added about a tbs of golden raisins to the bowl I just ate and the little bursts of sweetness helped to balance out the flavor. Brittany Philadelphia PA
Quick and delicious It made a perfect side for our bbq meal. It was easy to make since I had all the ingredients on hand using fat-free feta. I thought the citrus was too overpowering when I first made it but that mellowed out after sitting in the fridge for an hour. I also added a dash of salt. It received good reviews from a picky crowd.
