This quick crumble topping is convenient to have on hand.

  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup pecans, or almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup whole-wheat flour, or all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons canola oil

  1. Combine oats, nuts, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in a medium bowl and stir until well blended. Drizzle oil over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly moistened.
  • Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.

tastes amazing!! however the nutritional value data is useless for the simple reason that it is in 1/4 cups. I mean I want to know how much it is per serving not per 1/4 cup. I sure didn't take the time to measure it in cups................ thats just bizarre kwlkid

I love this. I make a double batch up and throw it in the freezer so that I always have it on hand when I only want one or two crumbles. I love the Blueberry crumble and have used several other types of fruit. Topped with vanilla yogurt it makes for a very nice and comforting breakfast.
