  • 16 boiled red potatoes, chilled
  • 4 teaspoons caviar
  • 4 teaspoons creme fraiche
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives

  1. Slice off one end of each potato and hollow out a small "bowl" in the other end with a melon baller. Fill each potato with ¼ teaspoon caviar. Top with ¼ teaspoon creme fraiche and sprinkle with chives.

Russians don't eat caviar on potatoes! This sounds like an awful combination. As somebody who was born and raised in Russia let me tell you no one back home eats caviar on potatoes.

If you make this per the recipe it will not look like the photo. 1/4 teaspoon of caviar and 1/4 teaspoon of creme fraiche???
