Frozen limeade adds zing to this stellar blueberry margarita.

  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup blueberry nectar
  • 1/4 cup seltzer
  • 2 tablespoons frozen limeade
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3 ounces tequila, optional
  • 1 lime wedge
  • Coarse salt

  1. Combine ice, blueberries, blueberry nectar, seltzer, limeade, lime juice and tequila, if using, in a blender and blend until smooth. Rub rim of 2 glasses with lime wedge and dip in salt. Divide the margarita between the prepared glasses and serve.

Delicious My only issue with this recipe (and most recipes from this site) are the calories seem grossly underestimated. It just seem too good to be true so when I used another website to calculate calories, I get more than double the calories per serving. So just use caution if you're a calorie counter like me! Pros: fresh fruit Cons: calories/nutrition facts incorrect

Super tasty! It creates a good tart/sweet juxtaposition with the lime and blueberries. A really good twist on a regular margarita. We grilled salmon and twice baked potatoes. A made for a nice meal.

This was wonderful!!!!!!! I have been dying for a margarita but since I am doing WW the points are just too high. But htis version was healthy and sooo tasty. I am not a huge fan of blueberries so I swaped for raspberries........ this is a KEEPER!!!!!
