Very quick easy and tasty.
delicious a friend made this for me a couple years ago when i came over for dinner. i had to ask where she got the recipe. this recipe has become a standard in our meal rotations. it is SO quick and easy to make and tastes great. if we're trying to eat extra healthy we skip the tortilla wrap and serve it over chopped romaine like a salad. YUM!
SOOOO yummy. I hate to cook during the week because I am pooped when I get home from work. This recipe is so simple and easy. Oh yeah and it tastes amazing!
LOVE IT!!!! It was so easy to make and taste amazing. I got full very fast and didnt feel bad because I was eating something healthy for myself. Pros: Fast and easy Cons: My husband didnt like it but he doesnt like anything!!!
I loved this recipe! I did add a little more sour cream than it called for because the bbq sauce I used was very strong and dominated the flavor too much. I would highly recommend this recipe though. I am definitely keeping it on my list of favorites! Very quick and easy to prepare too!
So delicious and so easy to make we had leftovers a few days in a row and to give it a little change we made the filling into taquitos and baked them....SO YUMMY!!!
My girlfriend and I just whipped up a few of these. They were fun and easy to make together. It makes a lot of food for two we've got some leftovers. May try the taquito idea posted above. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Great recipe! It's really easy to make and it tastes great. I recommend adding some salsa.
I tried this recipe last night with Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce and it was delicious! Instead of rotisserie chicken I cut up and grilled two chicken breasts and it worked very well. I would definitely make this one again!
Forgot sour cream but added some avocado. Tasty quick & easy. Will make again when we have leftover chicken.
making it tonight... we'll see - but i'll post asap to let u know but adding salsa seems like the PERFECT idea: )
I loved everything about this recipe! It tastes GREAT and is super simple to make. This is only my third recipe to try from this site but it is one that I will definitely make again I just added it to my favorites.
It's very rare for my husband to say "This is really good " but this was one of those times. I'd make it again with white tortillas even though it's less healthy. We added tomatoes.
I just made these and they were sooo good!!!! Instead of onion I used green pepper and I grilled the chicken with a tex-mex spice on it. I also added a bit of garlic and tex-mex spice to the green peppers. The bbq sauce gave a nice hint of flavor. It was easy and quick. Love this and will make it again!!
This is my first recipe I made from eatingwell. I oven baked chicken breast seasoned with black pepper paprika cumin garlic/onion powder and red pepper flakes then shredded that to use. I had two nice size breast. It came out really good. I didn't think of it until after eating but in order to cut out more calories I could have just ate it as a lettuce wrap in the romaine instead of the whole wheat wrap. I added some advocado and pico de galo to mine too. I will make again.
Very delicious recipe and it is extra tasty if you add tomatoes I added some chunky salsa and that gave it a little more bite. I also just cooked my chicken breasts in a pan first with salt & pepper half a lemon squeezed and a whole lime squeezed. Added a nice fresh citrus taste. I squeezed more juice into pan when I was mixing up the corn/bean ingredients as well. The barbeque sauce adds an unexpected twist and when I was finished I didn't feel heavy and slow I felt recharged and content. Great easy recipe I will make again soon. -Emily in PA
Made this recipe last night and it was great. My picky husband and kids enjoyed it! Instead of roasted chicken I sliced up some chicken breasts and sauteed it with salt pepper garlic powder cumin and finished it with lime juice. The barbecue sauce and sour cream mixture is a delightful combination creamy and tangy but not rich. This recipe is a keeper!
I loved this recipe. It tasted great when I made it. My sister loved it. The best part was that I'm a horrible cook and it was so easy to make. Nothing came out burnt. Yay!
After a long week I was looking for something easy and healthy (but still delicious!) to make for dinner for my husband and I. I grabbed a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and whole wheat tortillas. Everything else I had at home already ( I LOVE when I find recipes with things I usually have in the pantry) so I was able to whip this together quickly. It was soooo good. I put some shredded cheese on the tortillas I pan-warmed for my hubby (what can I say the man loves cheese and never gains any weight). With or without the cheese though it was still fabulous! I usually can't make a recipe without adding a bunch of my own ingredients and spices to it but with this all I did was add a little cayenne for spice. The rest was perfect!
Exciting Dish for a Workday Lunch! I loved this recipe! I didn't have barbeque sauce so I used salsa instead and I thought they turned out great! I am looking forward to trying them with barbeque sauce next time. My favorite part about this recipe is how easy it is to make (especially if you use a rotisserie chicken!) and how satisfying and fresh it tastes (it makes a great lunch at work!). I will try the idea that another poster suggested about squeezing the lime juice in as you cook the bean/corn mixture because the lime juice really made the burrito! Also I think this is the first burrito I've ever made that I did not put cheese on it because it didn't need it!:) Pros: Easy to make satisfying and light
Great Recipe We really liked this one....I passed it on to others too....quick easy and a lot of flavor....
Full of Flavor Yet Simple to Make I love this recipe. It is straight forward but I wouldn't have put the corn beans bbq sauce and sour cream together. My boyfriend now makes this recipe for himself once a week! Any protein beans or veggies could easily be incorporated into this because the majority of the flavor comes from the sauce. It is also great with a quick veggie slaw on top of the chicken! Pros: Little prep time Easy to make substitutions
