  • ½ pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1½ teaspoons sugar, or to taste
  • 1-1½ teaspoons balsamic or red-wine vinegar

  1. Place strawberries in a bowl and toss with sugar to taste. Sprinkle with vinegar to taste. Let stand for 20 minutes before serving.

I love the calories low amount most of all. anything tart, or spicy is #1 w/me. Easy prep, and quick fixing is also great. The fact that it is diabetic friendly and dessert tasty is right on target. ARTRYE
