Black-Fruit Compote

“This quick compote would be terrific over lightly sweetened ricotta cheese or frozen yogurt.”

Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 2 tablespoons tawny port
    • 2 tablespoons orange juice
    • 1 cup blackberries
    • 1 cup blueberries
    • 1 cup cherries

Directions

  • 1 Stir honey, port and orange juice in a small saucepan over low heat until blended. Let cool 5 minutes. Toss the honey mixture with blackberries, blueberries and cherries in a medium bowl.
