My husband doesn't care for radishes and I'm not a huge fruit fan but the Peach and Radish Salad recipe was amazing. A new summer favorite for sure!

Love everything about your magazine. This issue with Bill Best and the green beans really hit home with the recipe for "Meatless Mountain Green Beans with potatoes".. My husband grew up in the Appalachian Mts, and Seriously misses what you described. green beans, slaw, cornbread ect. My question is, In the picture for this recipe there is either pinto or lima beans, some other bean not stated. Please can you help me find out which one it is. This looks delicious and I would love to surprise him with this meal. Thank You.

I wanted to comment on the meal plan. Your site has a 1200 calorie plan that has over 60% of those calories coming from the one dietary item I struggle the most to handle!!! I have been desperately trying to find a meal plan I can actually use. This isn't it! What is the wisdom here? Carbs are, if not my enemy, certainly not my BFF. There has to be a menu that keeps the carbs under 100g (under 60 would be better). I'm not talking Atkins circa 1982. I'm just saying that nutritionists keep peddling the so-called heart-healthy carby diet and if I followed it I'd either be chasing down my numbers, or I'd put on weight...

Hi, I love everything about this site and many other sites - However, I am concerned about the use of canola oil in recipes since canola oil is not all it is set out to be but an unhealthy product derived from an unhealthy plant - I have been advised that this is not so by a well known health food presenter and that she has done her research on canola oil which she feels is very healthy - whilst she is a food presenter, Dr Mercola (together with a team of scientists, doctors, nutritionists, etc) has proved this to be the worst oil to ever be used. Just letting it out there
