I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine here in Manhattan. I help my patients stave off the common cold by boosting their immune systems before the cold weather onslaught with weekly treatments. If a patient starts to feel 'a cold coming on', the combination of acupuncture and herbal pills just nips it in the butt before the damage is done!

I love a large bowl of egg drop soup. It's hot and good if deilivery is fast. I feel so much better after. When a member of my family is down I make homemade chicken soup. They eat every drop, feel and sleep better.

These dont fight off the flu- You wouldn't be getting it AT ALL if you ate all the fruits and veggies you needed in the first place! No supplements for me...

I do all of these things. I take the vitamins and probiotics daily and drink green tea often. If a cold does start to come on, I take Sambucol and eat chicken soup and usually have good luck at relieving symptoms.
