Mostly, having all of my children together again is what I'm looking forward to. But food-wise...a special family apple pie recipe that I usually only makle 1-2x/year (Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas). I also make a light custard-style pumpkin pie and chocolate pecan pie. Nobody seems able to decide which is the favorite so they ask for thin slices of each. But the apple pie is my favorite, served warm with vanilla ice cream!

My favourite is cranberry/raspberry jello with a cream cheese topping. And for leftovers, turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce, cream cheese and sprouts.

All of the above, I have been without a kitchen since my last holiday, so any home cooked meal will be greatly appreciated! :)

Anything cranberry! Cranberry mocktails, cranberry in a gelled salad, cranberry sauce made with fresh chopped berries, and cranberry pie or in a cake. You can add smoked turkey as a side dish.

I love Cranberries zinfandel! I always make extra so that I can freeze it for nights when I prepare pork chops for dinner, along with a baked yam and fresh steamed asparagus...
