I have cut out wheat. Bread, pasta, cereal...I added flax seed meal to my diet & I have been able to maintain my weight without any other "dieting" plus I lowered my cholesterol.

I do not use any processed meats.
My breakfast cereal is rolled oats with oatbran daily. no sugar but 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and ground ginger.
Only have 2 to 3 small crackers with cheese daily. No other biscuits
o eat meat, fish, eggs, and make my own soups from scratch.
Loosing weight which is needed. So so far so good. Corry

I'm trying to cut out ALL (well, as many as possible, which is nearly all) canned (in cans) products.

Processed foods have been in the media so much of late that I really feel guilty eating any of them. They are truely unhealthy. I have learned that for the price of one processed package of any food I can make three meals if I cook for myself. The saving alone is a good reason to eat fresh.
