My local grocery (Kroger) now has a terrific organic section--I'll be eating mostly organic food from now on!

Fruits daily five servings Apple banana orange juice berries pomegranate Gauva vegetables like onion tomato garlic capsicum mixed wth egg to make omlate alternate day greentea mixed wth lemmonand honey low fat. I am taking lots of water at hte moment, but i also intend to do more of fruits and vegetables. Hitting the gymn is a challenge, but with my rope, i do afew skips a day, consistently.....

Our doctor told my husband he has to go "carb-less" for a month. What a great challenge! I am sure we won't maintain a no-carb existence, but we will keep the carbs in check once his glucose comes down.

I'm giong too, and have already started, eating more yogurt, drinking a bit more milk, and get in at least one glass of water a day (I'm not really fond of just plain water). Also, if I can afford it, I'd like to start drinking more fruit/vergetable combination juices. Just simples things that are affordable and doable without going nuts and changing everything all at once. A good start I think. Also, even though I have to take them for medical reasons, I have recently cut down a considerable amount on my medications (which is NOT easy after taking some of them for over 20+ years trust me!). But I'm really going to try my hardest not to go back up on them no matter how much pain I'm in. I think, for me personally, this is a good start. Good luck to everyone else on here who are planning, in different ways that are right for them and their lifestyles and budgets, that they're able to carry through with their plans! :)

I'll try to eat more often (as in, more meals per day - I'm hypoglycemic so this is a must! Tired of purses getting ruined by mashed candies/glucose pills). I'll eat as many home-cooked meals and home-grown veggies as possible, and plan ahead by making healthy small meals in advance and freezing them for convenience.

Addin chia seeds to my food, but more importantly, not buying foods that have unknown junk in them and no hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrups at the least.
