Healthy living starts w eating healthy we all agree. I enjoy my vegetables, fruits , water w minimal desserts. I lost n gain some weight n sometimes it feels really frustrating when u think u are doing the right thing yet, the weight keeps coming back. I think my problem is the white rice. My hope is to cut on it as from now . Am happy bu will be more happier if i shade off more pounds. Any suggestions.

I try not to eat: Processed foods, High fructose GMO - Corn Syrup, GMO Corn (70%) of all corn products on the market, produced with seeds are ready to be sprayed with roundup!!! "Round-up ready seed"! How exciting!!! I want Non-GMO corn that only needs mulch and spray on BT, that is safe for human and animal consumption.

Magnesium stearate found in almost every supplement available. If you take enough supplements, this can really take it's toll = memory loss = this, more supplements to accomodate for memory loss. Pure encapsulations/ Life extension Products/ Dr. Mersola, all on the right track...
Eat as organic as possible. Get that little garden growing :-) Buy from local farmers and farmers markets!

Trying to limit fried meats. I live in Brazil where the diet of rice and beans and fried meat with a veggie or two (prepared with garlic sauteed in soy oil) is the norm. I have to make a conscious effort to limit the rice and prepare more "American style" salads with all these wonderful veggies available.

I TRY TO LIMIT SUGAR BUT IT IS HARD BECAUSE I AM CONSTANTLY ON THE RUN WITH BASKETBALL AND SOFTBALLL THAT I CANT DO IT ALL OF THE TIME

No any kind of meat, except fish
No salt, oil, msg, sugar, starchy food, white or brown
Rice, grain and wheat bread
No can foods
No salad dressing ( fats, soduim & cholesterol )

I use little salt, no fats, no processed food, sodas, white bread.
I use olive oil in small quantity, low fat milk, low fat cheese.
I never liked desserts, so I don;t have any problem not having sweets, but I eat lot of fruits, watermelon, papaya, apples, oranges. Eat lot of vegetables like carrrots, tomatoes, celery, spinach, zucchini.

I have adopted the Nutritarian life style recommended by Dr. Joel Furhman's Eat to Live. I have lost 30 lbs, feel fantastic - lots of amazing energy!!! Over 90% of my daily diet is comprised of vegetables and fruits. I also eat nuts, seeds. Very little grains - absolutely NO WHEAT, very little dairy, and no red meat at all. Not quite a strict vegetarian or vegan, but something in between. It works for me. I also exercise for 2 hours per day every day - usually walking 8-10 miles. I love the Nutritarian life style - it works for me!
