I learned how to cook food from different cutures. The cooking styles and new spices took the craving of fried and salted food out of the home. Two years now and still not using salt or frying in the home. The desire to try new food also has cut out fast food take out and buying processed food. Just made Moroccan chicken with dates and olives. Look for the recipe, it was wonderful!!! Peace

I do not eat yogurt, cheese, any dairy products, hummus, vegetable burgers bran flakes, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, apricots, nuts (except almonds or peanuts). No almond paste any white dressings, grits, oatmeal or other hot cereals. What can I use for substitutes when recipes call for these ingredients?

I either limit greatly or avoid altogether each of the things listed in the poll; if I had to choose what I avoid more so than the others, I'd go with any forms of added sodium/sugar and processed foods like chips/cookies/sausage/etc.
