No fast food, red meat, sodas, dairy, canned food, processed food, sugar, salt. My diet is as basic as possible, fresh fruit, veg, quinoa, chia seeds, unsweetened almond milk, fish, green tea, water.
I gave up the real nasty habits like, cigarettes and alcohol years ago, best thing I ever did.

My only problem is with sodium. It is SUPER hard to limit THAT item since it's in so many foods, especially frozen foods and canned stuff, including canned veggies.

I avoid all partial foods like table salt and white sugar. . .even synthetic singular vitamins and minerals for the most part. (I do take magnesium and vitamin C though.) I try to keep the hydrogenated fats, preservatives, GMO's and the cheap salt and sugar out of our diet completely, but it is hard to live that way 100%, so we just avoid processed foods (including dairy) and commercially grown foods at home, and eat out usually once a week or less and call it good. We get our food from local farmers as much as we can, and organic the rest of the time when possible.

added salt, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, trans fats, and foods with deceptive or inaccurate ingredients lists and nutrition labels (happens a lot more often than I originally thought before I started checking all the lists and labels)

i try not to eat many dessert items such as ice cream, chocolate, cake, pie ect...... i could go on all day but as of a year ago i had become about 10 lbs. over-weight and decided to take action before it got worse as my family has a hereditary history of diabetes and heart conditions. i also stay away from salty things.
