Foods with high glycemic index

Saturated fats - substituted with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, unsalted butter in moderation.
Beef and Pork - substituted with fish, chicken, beans and other protein products.
I eat more vegetables and fruits since I started using the NutriBullet. Also, for acid in the digestive system, Apple Cider Vinegar with honey or Agave Gluten free syrup for sweetner.
Avoid all artificial sweetners-use the raw sugar, not refined.
Limit salt to 2,000 mg or less a day.
Drink green tea with Hibiscus for healthy blood pressure.
Eliminate High Fructose Corn Syrup and gluten in foods when possible.
The list goes on and on as I learn more from the Dr. Oz programs.

I learned how to cook food from different cutures. The cooking styles and new spices took the craving of fried and salted food out of the home. Two years now and still not using salt or frying in the home. The desire to try new food also has cut out fast food take out and buying processed food. Just made Moroccan chicken with dates and olives. Look for the recipe, it was wonderful!!! Peace

We do noteat white foods, pasta, potatoes, etc. we also watch the carb numbers and sodium.
