My Parkinsonism was caused by Canola Oil. I began to cripple at 6 years old, paralyzed at 25, at 44 lost everything, my home, career & life was detroyed. Memory loss so severe I could not read or write. I got well by boycotting Canadian food because Health Canada's corruption is such that we have no right to know legislation on our food labels. A company can call "IT" vegetable oil, or not identify it at all. The brutality & torture I endured as a direct result of Canola Oil cannot fit in this short space. Rape seed is the source of Canola, it is a highly toxic weed. I got well at the age of 70 through food - not drugs & still boycotting all Canadian food. Canola oil was banned in the USA & Europe UNTIL 1994, because scientific evidance proved Rape alias CANOLA OIL by any name was causing the symptoms of my diease to animals that ate it. At 70 I went from death to dancing, crippled to skiing. But nothing can give me back the life I lost, my baby I lost, my home and career, winding up on the streets, retarded, left to die in a shack with less human rights than a dog. Crawling on my hands and knees, pain like being electrocuted through every molecule in my being, the sheer agony so great I tried to drive my car of a cliff, praying to die. Health Canada is corrupt on the take to Monsanto who in every sense of the word are sociopathic. Living with dying, the brutality & torture of what Canola oil did to me is simply horrendous. Now thanks to Health Canada & the FDA lifting the ban on (Rape seed oil) alias Canola, millions of children are in jeopardy of getting my disease. WHOSE CHILD WILL BE NEXT? Trudi Trahan-upchan

Most importantly, foods I have sensitivities to, such as dairy, eggs and nuts. I eat rarely (less than once a week) red meat or poultry, corn, wheat and other cereal grains. I have cut back on sugar, salt and processed sauces. I eat only brown rice at home--I wish more restaurants offered it instead of white rice.

I try equally to rule out sugar, salt, saturated fats, and processed foods. Tough job!
