It is bad for you. Another CA will be on the rise. Get educated and learn to eat naturally, locally grown foods.Let us stop the big corporations dictate how we should eat. Remember it is your health so get smart and be healthy. Liz in California

I agree there are to many altered food products now we have to stop this insanity it gets worse every time you turn around they are adding something new if we don't stop them there won't be any natural food left

I do believe that genetically modified foods, of any sort, are likely safe to consume in and of themselves (unless one has severe food allergies). The real danger, in my opinion, is the threat to our ecosystem, as the consequences of tinkering with organisms, be they plant or animal, are far-reaching and unpredictable and are potentially truly life-threatening. With the salmon in particular, it is well known that farmed salmon routinely escape their "pens" in massive numbers (by the tens- or even the hundreds of thousands). These genetically modified fish are going to want to eat year-round, even when food is not available in the wild. When they breed with whatever wild salmon is left, as they inevitably will, the offspring of this unnatural creature will starve to death and likely spell the end of wild salmon forever.

This will also make me suspicious of all salmon - don't think I would be comfortable ordering it in a restaurant or even believing that salmon labled as not being genetically modified will be "pure"

I do not eat farm raised salmon, genetically modified or not. I believe the methods used are bad for our environment nor do farm raised salmon contain the omega 3's that wild salmon contain.

There has not been enough testing on genetically modified food and what it does to our bodies long-term. I am totally against all genetically modified foods.

Absolutely not. First of all, they are genetically altering Atlantic Salmon which is an unsafe fish to begin with (farmed in unsanitary conditions). They you alter it genetically so it will grow faster and bigger, and you no longer have salmon. We won't know if it is "safe" for years. I'm not going to be the industry guinea pig.

I believe that genetically engeneered foods never taste the same. Such as potatoes. You cannot fry potatoes like they used to fry,nor do they have the same taste. I would like to have them stop messing with our food.
