Previoiusly, my goals were too far into the future: i.e. I'll lose 20 pounds by swimsuit season, and too vague: i.e. I'll start walking again. Well, I think I need to get "tunnel vision" for a defined period of time. So, I have planned a six week exercise routine that is easy enough for me to achieve every day and with the help of EatingWell.com's menu planning, I am devising a six week eating plan to stay on track. It's all about easy enough to actually do, not about how much can I do, which sets me up for failed goals and sabatoges my efforts every time. — sisvicki |

How is this goal-setting approach different from others you've used in the past? EatingWellNicci, Charlotte, VT — Anonymous |
