i weigh 264 lbs and if i multiply by 12 it equals 3168 minus 1000=2168. Which means i should round it to 2500. Is that right?????

If I am to be on a 1200/day caloric intake, any suggestions on what it should be while nursing?

Where is the grocery list?

I work 8-10 hours a day. It would be nice if the menu and recipes were close by the article. In addition the ingredients in my area of the U.S. are difficult to find. For the types of dishes in the menu, one would have to leave some cities/towns to find the item. By the time I've found everything, I'm ready for bed. Simple? Yes, if you have all of the ingredients on hand. Aren't there any recipes with the typical grocery store food, spices, etc that one could use? I love your books but there are only two people to feed and one will not eat left overs. Need something simple, Design something for people who are on the go and over 55 years of age. I want to be healthy but trying to find some of the ingredients/spices/etc is like going on a treasure hunt.

In regards to some of the comments....WHY would someone want to lose weight that weighs 100 or 115 lbs? Why are you reading or even commenting on a WEIGHT LOSS plan article?

On day 16, lost 8lbs so far. Takes some time to prepare and plan, but well worth it! Good food, feel like you are eating healthy rather than dieting! I plan a week in advance for meals and grocery list.

While nursing you need to add 500 calories to your diet, so make sure you add that in before subtracting 500 or 1000!
Also, the last comment- check your math. You are only subtracting 1 calorie and 5 calories instead of 1000 and 500. Maybe you did it on purpose, but I thought I would let you know just in case.

This is a pretty great article. I like the way you can figure out the number of calories that you should be eating. This is pretty great! We definitely need to eat enough not to feel hungry and not enough that we lose the weight that we want to lose. I have some information losing weight on www.healthylivingthoughts.com that you can check out including a plan that has a grocery list.
