i think you cant say if someone is healthy just by weight and size...

5 ft 7 inches and only 115 I'd say you were underweight...that sounds way too skinny for 5-7. I'm 5'6" and weigh just under 140 and I'm a size 2 or 4...

I have a hard time believing that you are a size 2 or 4 at 5'6". I am 5'8" at 140 and I wear a size 6-8..... Lets all be honest!

Every body body structure is differnt so it is possable that she is a size 2or 4 you really are not a doctor and your not fat you might have to gain some but your fine

I put in my lowest weight (6'0" 150lbs) and it said I was normal. I reached that weight after losing 30 pounds by having my jaw wired shut for 3 weeks. I was already thin going in and at 150lbs I was downright scrawny and weak. My arms looked like spaghetti noodles. I don't trust this bmi calculator at all.

from what I have seen you should weight more. At 5'7" you should be at least 120-125

At 115lbs, at that height, you are most definitely underweight, and nearly into the anorexia category. Please not that "anorexia" is defined as being 15% or more underweight, and "anorexia nervosa" is the eating disorder most commonly thought of when people use the term "anorexic". You may be thinking you are fat due to having some fat deposits that you do not like, but these, in small amounts, are perfectly healthy to have. You really ought to be focused with eating more protein, at your weight, and gaining some muscle. Being underweight actually comes with -more- health problems than being overweight, and is known in the psychology diagnostic manual (the DSM-IV-TR) as one of the only conditions that can actually kill you. If you are still worried about being fat, I would very, very highly suggest seeking out help. Nobody wants to feel fat, and you could seriously benefit, both emotionally and physically, from seeking help from a licensed professional. And yes, I do have the educational background to be making these statements, for those who wish to challenge. (seems to be a trend)

Two comments, I have two sons 6'2'', both weigh 145-150 lbs.(runs in the family on the male side) look real thin and would definitely look better with some weight on. I'm 5'9", 153 lbs., my bmi comes in at the normal range.
