Hello Everyone,
I recently have had bypass surgery that was followed up with blood clot in my lung. I recently have been placed on Warfarin. I was told that I need to lose weight I needed to be on a low fat, low sodium, low cholesterol and well and I could not eat products that were green in color, due to the vit k. Does anyone have any idea where I can find a reducing plan 1200 calories that will meet these requirements. Thank you

This is more of a question, Is there a diet plan for me with A-fib, I am on Warfarin, and have to have blood work every week or two. It goes up and down so quickly. Should I not eat Vit. K and what else at all? Also what about a diabetic diet as my husband has it, for me also?

Based on my physicians orders, he gave me a 1400 calorie menu plan to follow in order to bring my blood pressure and weight down as I have had one mild heart attack and have angina, I have also been diagnosed with diabetes, and high cholesterol. I have lost 25 pounds in 6 weeks. I have a 2 week menu plan that he gave me but am very bored with the same meals day after day and would like to know how to find recipes that fall into the 'low-sodium, low-cholesterol, low-carb, and low-sugar' category. It's very difficult trying to find recipes and then remove and exchange ingredients based on my needs. What can I do to make this easier? are there recipes that fall all into one category like this?

i want to try making the "Oatmeal Chocolate Chips Cookies" recipe. i want to know if i can use steelcut oats instead of rolled oats. are they the same in nutrition .

Does this diet have any down sides? Like low protein intake or too much fat or something like that?
