Well MY favourite is not even mentioned on your poll, but it is a Spartan. It seems to me that if you are going to run a truely representative poll then you should have more
after all the years of eating apples, my favorite is the Gala. It has the wonderful intense apple taste without being too sweet or too dry.
Ambrosia apples are firm and sweet and delicious!
Honey crisp without a doubt
mutzu----crisp, tart with a bit of sweetness
Macs are the best!
My real favorites are not on the list. Gravenstien for one. Best pie apple ever grown.
Empire! delicious and crisp!
Jazz, wheres the Jazz? They got soul food flavor and texture!
Pink lady , Gala, Honeycrisp, Jonagold
1)pink pearl and 2)braeburn
PINK LADY!! Why aren't they on the list?
Cameo is my favorite
What kind of apple you like best probably depends on where you live. Honey crisps are the best in the supermarket and one of the best anywhere in my opinion, but nothing beats an apple (any kind) grown in the best place for that kind of apple .
Favorite is Fuji, Gala is a close second. Crisp and juicy apples!
They make a pink sauce and have a great balance of sweet and tart
Pink Lady is the best!
granny smith cannot be beat for all around recipes. Tart when eaten raw. Hold up when making caramel or chocklate apples. Stay crisp when baked in pies. Great making cider.
honeycrisp, sweetango, winesap, then baldwin
Jazz apples (mini apples from Trader Joe's)
Pink lady, Jonathan , Gala in that order
Honey crisp! Won:t eat any other, wish they were avaiable all year round!!!!
You just can't beat a fresh juicy Pink lady!
So refreshing and soooo good for you.
Crunch with me and enjoy.
Jonathan is my favorite.
mmm you must try an Eve apple - so crunchy, juicy and sweet - I highly recommend
Love those Honey Crisps.
Galas for me! You can make an apple crisp with 1/2, 1/4 the sugar if you use Gala. Plus they are so pretty!
Pink lady a great apple
Braeburn! Wish they were available more often!
Ilove the Fuji apple. They are also the only kind of apples that my to big dogs will eat.
Pink Lady is the best....
I love a good crisp Jonathon!!
love Jazz apples!
Winesap, Jonathan, Jonagold all are missing. Also Northern Spy, one of my very favorites!
No one has mentioned Gravenstein or Northern Spy! Those are my favorites (besides Cortlands fresh off the tree).
