Say goodbye to messy oil stains.

I am always on the lookout for new kitchen items, liketools that make prepping broccoli or strawberries easier, or a cutting board that collects run-off juices for less-messy cooking. And now, I’ve found a product that will make cooking and cleaning a smoother process: Food52’s Frywall.

While I love to make recipes like Creamy Lemon Chicken Parmesan and Baja-Battered Fish, the biggest downside is having oil splatter everywhere during the frying process—and that’s where the Frywall comes in handy (buy it: Food52, $40-$50 for a set of two, depending on the size). The Frywall acts as a shield to prevent oil from flying onto your stove, countertops and even you. (We’ve all experienced hot oil hitting your arms, which is zero fun!)

The cone sits inside your pan and extends up and out to create a barrier from messy liquids. The Frywall comes in three sizes: 8 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches, so they’ll fit in any size pan you use. The cone is made from a BPA-free, high temperature silicone and comes in two different color options: black and grey. The Frywall is flexible, so it’s easy to store. Plus, it’s safe to put in the dishwasher, which makes for a fast clean up.

The Frywall will prevent oil from dirtying up your kitchen (buy it: Food52, $40-$50 for a set of two, depending on the size). This handy item is the perfect addition to any cabinet and it’ll make frying foods like bacon and shrimp a breeze. And who doesn’t want more bacon in their life?
