Vanilla beans

Vanilla beans: Vanilla beans, found with the spices in supermarkets or at specialty stores, provide the purest and most aromatic vanilla flavor. To use the vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scrape out the tiny seeds. The flavorful seeds can be added to both sweet and savory dishes. The whole bean can also be steeped in hot liquid to release its flavor. Store vanilla beans in an airtight container.
