Lighter Bake: A blend of apples and prunes, Lighter Bake can be used as a substitute for fat in baked goods. Canned prune puree (lekvar) can be used as well. (See Prune Pie Filling.) Both can be found in the cooking oil or baking sections of large supermarkets.
