This is a fantastic farmers market any time of year. When the indoor market moves to the Senior Center (Jan.-April) I get extra excited because of the Farmers Market Breakfast. Every Saturday during this time, local chefs plan the menu, vendors supply the ingredients, and volunteers help create a delicious, locally-sourced meal.

In response to the Anonymous commenter who said "Nice Farmers Market but local coffee vendors are missing and food vendors are totally separated from products. Coffee should be part of the Farmers Market.":

The Dane County Farmers Market is the largest PRODUCER-ONLY farmers market in the nation. Last time I checked, coffee beans don't grow in Wisconsin. However, there a few food truck coffee vendors that park on the outer sidewalk of the square, not to mention the multiple coffee shops on the square, or even one block off of the square (local roaster Barriques and Colectivo, to name a few).
