This is fantastic! I have a little card in my wallet listing all of the fish to eat and to avoid from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Their site also says that Target will not be selling farmed salmon (yay!). How is it that farmed Atlantic fish are endangered and wild Alaskan salmon are not. Doesn't farming the fish by definition preserve wild stocks? Also what is the fish being held in the picture? — Anonymous	04/13/2010 - 6:12pm

To Anonymous commenter at 04/13/2010 - 6:12pm Farmed salmon aren't endangered - they are on the Avoid list because the farmed fish practice isn't good for the environment, plus they are filled with antibiotics. The others are on there because they are being over-fished. Some fish are on the list because they are polluted with heavy metals like mercury. — Anonymous	04/19/2010 - 2:52am
