We have faucet mount filters in the kitchen and bathroom, and drink filtered tap water. We use the filtered water for just about everything - Kool Aid, lemonade, in the coffee pot, in the iced tea maker, and for our pets' drinking water, too. Our city water tastes terrible. You can really tell the difference in taste with the filters. — Anonymous |

I drink water that has been purified by osmosis to remove the chlorine taste. It comes in 20 litre bottles that I re-use. So, I guess technically I drink bottled water, but I'm not adding to the waste stream. — Anonymous |

Tap water at home, filtered at work. The work water is terrible--makes bad coffee, tea, or whatever you want. Home water is just fine. — Anonymous |

Well water often contains unspecified amounts of anti-biotics and other medications that are not broken down by the human digestive system. These impurities are not tested for in city and subdivision water wells. Yuck! I buy bottled water from an aquifer far from where people live. — Anonymous |

I drink filtered tap water most of the time. When I'm out-and-about or traveling, I drink bottled. — Anonymous |

Get a good water filter system, PUR makes a good one or google for other brands. I put in a 3 filter system for $100. and never buy bottled water. I hate having to reycycle, so I avoid it by making my own water. Keep it in glass pitcher and I know I am safe without the high cost. I enjoy good quality water, but not the waste of buying what is probablly some cities tap water, that has been filtered, put into plastic and shipped all over. — Anonymous |
