How do I add recipes from My EatingWell or the 28-Day Meal Plans to my daily menu?

Right now there is not a way to import your saved recipes from My EatingWell or the 28-Day Meal Plans into the Menu Planner (nor vice versa). We have added that feature to our list of possible improvements for the next version of this tool. In the meantime, you can find your favorite EatingWell recipes using the search box in the top right hand corner of the Menu Planner. If you are having trouble finding a particular recipe or food, please let us know and we will try and help you out.

I have tried several times to click and drag an item to the menu planner, but it doesn’t seem to stay there. Am I doing something wrong?

To add a recipe or food item to your menu, you need to drag it from the right-hand column and drop it directly onto one of the green plate icons (rather than the white space below the icon). If you’re having trouble dragging you My Foods items onto the calendar, please refresh your browser and then try again. If you are dropping food items directly onto the green plate icon and still having trouble, please let us know.
