People tend to eat things they know. Simply having new things available on the shelves doesn't make a difference. Supermarkets should run testing opportunities and distribute each to make recipes to encourage participants. We all know what strawberries taste like, but may not know much about kohlrabi and fennel and how to prepare them nor the spices that perk them up.

Yes, I believe that if people have access to more fruits and vegetables they will eat more.
