I did an interview with Northeast Public Radio this morning. They were doing a story about eating healthier at summer gatherings so of course they wanted to talk burgers. There are plenty of tips on how to make traditional burgers healthier, but better yet, turn them meatless! We have all sorts of great vegetarian burger recipes and even devoted a chapter in our latest book EatingWell Fast & Flavorful Meatless Meals to burgers and sandwiches. Why not just buy the ones from the freezer in the supermarket? Homemade taste better and you get to control what goes into them. Enjoy.
