Now that spring has sprung, I’m loading up on more fresh veggies, and that has me thinking about the best way to store them to keep them at their freshest. I only go to the grocery store once a week, which means I have to keep my produce stored properly to avoid ending up with a giant pile of bad veggies ready for the compost pile at the end of the week.

I used to have a love-hate relationship with boneless, skinless chicken breast. On the love side, it’s a lean, healthy protein with only 142 calories and 1 gram of saturated fat per 3-ounce serving. And it cooks relatively quickly so it’s great for a weeknight meal. On the hate side, its flavor is so mild and it always seemed to be dried out from being overcooked.
